Comcast v. NAAAOM Moot

Moot argument for respondent in Comcast Corp. v. National Association of African American-Owned Media, before a panel of faculty members. The question presented is Whether a claim of race discrimination under 42 U.S.C. § 1981 fails in the absence of but-for causation. Arguing on behalf of respondent is Erwin Chemerinsky, Dean of Berkeley Law. Audience members will be required to disclaim any conflicts and maintain a strict confidentiality.
