Coffee Chat: Exploring the Potential of Rule of Law

HLS Students for the Rule of Law will be hosting a lunch talk and a coffee chat with Ms. Sarah C. Long, Director of the World Justice Project’s Rule of Law Index. World Justice Project is a DC-based independent and multidisciplinary organization dedicated to promoting rule of law around the world. Its Rule of Law Index measures how the general public in around the world experiences and perceives the rule of law in their own countries.

In addition to a lunch talk, we will be having a small coffee chat from 2 to 3pm where students will have opportunity to engage with the speaker in a more intimate and casual setting.

Ms. Long manages the administration of the WJP’s General Population Poll (GPP) in 113 countries and conducts thematic research on access to justice, the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and environmental governance. She also leads the WJP’s special data collection efforts in Pakistan, Romania, and throughout Africa. She will share her experiences of promoting rule of law around world.
