Interested in learning about family law and/or starting your own firm? Meet Marie-Louise Ramsdale (‘93), the founder and principal lawyer of Ramsdale Family Law, an all-female family law firm in Charleston County, South Carolina. She will speak with students about her extensive career in family law, largely involving high-conflict/high-asset divorce and custody cases. Outside her practice, Ms. Ramsdale founded and chairs the Charleston County Bar Wellness Committee, and coaches middle-school and high-school mock trial teams. She also is active in state politics, having served as the start-up director for former Governor Jim Hodges’ early childhood initiative and most recently as a finance chair for a 2018 gubernatorial candidate. Ms. Ramsdale is available for one-on-one career advising appointments in OCS and will also have a small, candid lunch discussion with interested HLS students. RSVP required for both lunch and individual appointments, as space is limited.
