The African Development Conference at Harvard is an annual forum that convenes global leaders, government officials, business professionals, scholars, and students for the advancement of discourse on potential solutions to challenges facing the African continent. It is the largest African development conference in North America. This year, we explore the theme: Our Time; Our Vision: Wielding Africa’s Potential for Sustainable Growth. Through this theme, we aim to spark discussions about sustainable growth through three major pillars: rule of law, technology, and economic partnerships. Keynote speakers include Amina Mohammad, Deputy Secretary General of the UN, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, Former President of Somalia, and David Maraga, Chief Justice of the Republic of Kenya, among other distinguished speakers.
