A Look Back & A Path Forward: APALSA Roundtable Discussion on the “Comfort Women” Issue

Join APALSA for a hybrid roundtable discussion on the ongoing “comfort women” issue from historical, academic, governmental, and legal perspectives, aiming to contribute to an effort to remember the deep pain and suffering of thousands of women and girls who were coerced into Japanese wartime sexual slavery. Speakers will include Lola Estelita Dy (Filipino “comfort woman” survivor), Professor Timothy Webster, Professor Michael Bazyler, Ethan Shin, and Agnieszka Fryszman.
