The Harvard Law School Tax Law & Financial Regulation Students Association will host renowned political economist Dr. Daron Acemoglu, MIT professor and best-selling author, on Oct. 28, 5:30pm.
Acemoglu is co-author of the acclaimed “Why Nations Fail.” He will discuss his new book, “The Narrow Corridor: States, Societies, and the Fate of Liberty,” which explores why liberty flourishes in some parts of the world but collapses to authoritarianism in others and provides a framework for how it can survive in the face of new threats.
Acemoglu’s presentation will be followed by an open forum with the audience. Food will be served.
