Emerson Gordon-Marvin has been awarded the Sumner M. Redstone Fellowship to work Dēmos, where he will fight disenfranchisement stemming from the criminal-justice system. While at Harvard Law School, Emerson was a Notes editor on the Harvard Law Review, a Training Director for the Tenant Advocacy Project, and a student attorney with three clinics: Protect Democracy, the Project on Predatory Student Lending, and the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts. Before law school, he worked at the New York Legal Assistance Group. He holds a B.A. in American Studies from Northwestern University.
