Registration for disability related accommodations through this page closed on May 17, 2019 at 4:30 pm. If you will be attending Class Day and/or Commencement and are in need of disability related accommodations, please email accessibility@law.harvard.edu with your request.

Accommodations are available upon request for people with disabilities on both Class Day and Commencement Day. Accommodation requests must be made through the Dean of Students Office via the online request form through May 17, 2019 or by emailing your request to accessibility@law.harvard.edu after May 17, 2019. We will do our best to accommodate late requests.

Accommodations for Class Day and Commencement Day

  • Accessible seating for candidates or guests
  • Accommodations for Deaf and hard of hearing individuals
  • Sign language interpreters at both Commencement Day and Class Day
  • Assisted Listening Devices (ALDs)
  • Accessible parking
  • Accommodations for people with visual impairments

Although you or your guests are encouraged to bring your own, wheelchairs will be available for loan for Class Day and Commencement Day ceremonies via advanced request.

Please note that, for Class Day, three seats will be reserved: one for the person requesting accessible seating and two additional seats for companions or guests. For the Law School Diploma Ceremony, 10 seats will be reserved to accommodate the person(s) requesting accessible seating and additional guests of the graduate.
