We are pleased to host the Dean’s Advisory Board on the Harvard Law School campus on Thursday, April 20 and Friday, April 21, 2023. 

This meeting provides an opportunity for us to convene in person and hear from Dean John Manning, senior administrators, and faculty speakers on the school’s priorities and initiatives.

All events will take place on the Harvard Law School campus in Cambridge, MA. Please check back, as program details will be updated frequently. 

Thursday, April 20

  • 5:00 p.m. – Registration opens 
  • 6:00 p.m. – Reception 
  • 7:00 p.m. – Dinner and featured speaker 

Friday, April 21

  • 8:00 a.m. – Breakfast 
  • 8:30 a.m. – Dean’s Advisory Board meeting 
  • 12:00 p.m. – Meeting adjourns 
  • 12:00 p.m. – Reunion lunch begins, Dean’s Advisory Board members are welcome to attend

Please note: You may consider exploring your own hotel accommodations at alternative hotels around Cambridge and neighboring towns.

Shuttles and Parking Information

Coach shuttles will be available to Dean’s Advisory Board members staying at The Charles Hotel. For those driving to the Combined Meeting, complimentary parking is available on campus at the 10 Everett Street lot. Please tell the parking attendant that you are with the Dean’s Advisory Board. 

COVID-19 Guidelines

We will continue to monitor the public health situation and reevaluate our in-person plans should circumstance change. We require all guests to adhere to federal, state, local, and University-mandated COVID guidelines for any in-person events. 

  • We encourage you to test before attending the event even if you are not experiencing symptoms. Rapid antigen tests are widely available at area pharmacies.     
  • If you have symptoms, no matter how mild, we ask that you do not attend the event—even if you test negative.   
  • If you test positive, please do not travel to campus or attend any events.   
  • At this time, the University has revised the guidance to the use of face covering/masks as optional in most indoor spaces. We recommend you continue consulting the CDC’s COVID-19 community levels to help make a personal choice on mask usage.  

The HLS Alumni Center will adapt these policies as needed based on public health guidance. Please check this page as the event date approaches to ensure you are aware of the current guidance. We will also provide email updates as needed for the Dean’s Advisory Board meeting.
