The United States Embassy in Luxembourg is accepting applications for the Dean Acheson Legal Stage (traineeship/apprenticeship) Program at the Court of Justice of the European Union for fall 2018 and spring 2019. Placements are available with a Judge of the Court of Justice, an Advocate General of the Court of Justice, or a Justice of the General Court. These 90-day, unpaid internships are open to American citizens and legal permanent residents of the United States who have completed three years of law school; French language skills are required, as well as a background in specific aspects of law, depending on the stage. Applications are due to the Embassy by April 1, 2018, and require a letter of nomination from HLS.
