Prerequisite: By Permission. Students interested in applying to join the Lab should submit a short (300 word maximum) statement of interest to Professor Hanson, if possible, by August 1, 2021. The statement should summarize the student’s motivation for taking the Lab and any relevant experience the student has. In this two unit seminar, students will work collaboratively on writing, assembling, and editing essays on the role of corporations, corporate power, and corporate law in producing systemic injustices. Most class sessions will be student-led, interactive, and collaborative. The course will provide students the opportunity to research and write about corporate power and systemic injustices.
