Harvard University’s Copyright Advisor is seeking to hire an HLS student to serve as this year’s Copyright Fellow in the Office for Scholarly Communication for Summer 2015.
We are seeking second- and third-year law students to help with research and analysis on law and policy issues related to copyright law, libraries, open access, and education.
Tasks may include researching and writing short memoranda on selected copyright topics and contributing to the development of a new project involving copyrights, orphan works, digitization, and the law.
Previous classes in IP law are helpful, but not required. Good interpersonal skills, research, writing, and orientation to detail preferred. The paid position will range from 25-35 hours per week through the Summer (with possible extension into Fall semester).
If interested, please send a cover letter and resume to Emily Kilcer (email@example.com) with the subject heading “Copyright Fellow position.” Applications are due by May 31st.
