On May 28, Harvard Law School held a ceremony to celebrate the graduating Class of 2020. The pre-taped event—made virtual by the need to maintain social distancing amid the global pandemic—featured student awards and performances; recognition of and remarks by faculty and staff award winners; and addresses by classmates Dean John F. Manning ’85 and civil rights leader Bryan Stevenson ’85. Earlier that day, graduates had been awarded their degrees from Harvard University in an online ceremony. An in-person gathering is expected to be scheduled after the global health crisis recedes.
