Mr. David Voon worked for Goldman Sachs (Asia) L.L.C. in Hong Kong, where he was a Partner from 2004 to 2011. He was the firm’s Head of Asia Private Wealth Management and served on the firm’s Asia Management Committee from 2006. Mr. Voon has broad and extensive management experience in Goldman Sachs, having led businesses in the firm’s Equities and Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities divisions, as well as serving as an Executive Director in the firm’s Legal Department. Since leaving the corporate world in 2011, Mr. Voon has actively co-invested with entrepreneurs in early-stage business opportunities. In 2018, Mr. Voon invested in, and currently serves as Vice Chairman for, LabyRx Immuno-Oncology Limited, a clinical stage biotech venture focused on developing anti-cancer treatments and diagnostics relating to the company’s work on a proprietary marker found on adenocarcinoma cells. In 2020, Mr. Voon invested in, and currently serves as Chairman for, Rockpool Capital Limited, a multi-family office based in Hong Kong that provides investment management services to high net-worth individuals in the region.
