Alumni in Residence with Jamie Wine JD’95 of Latham & Watkins LLP

Jamie Wine is a partner at Latham & Watkins and an accomplished trial lawyer who has tried and arbitrated a wide variety of business, environmental, and patent cases. Over the last four years alone, Jamie has been lead trial counsel in: a US$2 billion securities class action for a Fortune 500 company; a high-profile discrimination lawsuit for the US Soccer Federation; a multi-million dollar commercial dispute for a public company; a professional liability action for a Big Four accounting firm; a securities litigation for a public consulting firm; a patent case for a major pharmaceutical company; and an environmental US Supreme Court original action for the State of Florida. In addition to her trial practice, Ms. Wine regularly advises various issuers, each of the Big Four accounting firms, and a number of financial institutions on a variety of complex commercial and securities litigation matters, as well as SEC and other regulatory investigations. Ms. Wine recently completed a term as Global Chair of the firm’s Litigation & Trial Department and prior to that she served on the firm’s Executive Committee. This session is currently full.
