Classes of 1956, 1961, 1966, 1971, 1976, 1981 and Emeritus Club

More than 600 alumni and friends returned to Harvard Law School on October 28-30, 2016, to celebrate their class reunion. The event brought classmates and friends from the Classes of 1956, 1961, 1966, 1971, 1976, 1981 and the Emeritus Club together again to reconnect and take part in compelling discussions on everything from medical ethics and cyberlaw to innovation and criminal justice.

The insightful program featured keynote speaker David R. Gergen ’67, Professor of Public Service at Harvard Kennedy School and an Emmy Award-winning journalist on elections and politics, as well as former Associate Justice David H. Souter ’66, Associate Justice Anthony M. Kennedy ’61, Professor Laurence Tribe ’66, and Dean Martha Minow, among many others. It was a festive and inspiring weekend of learning and friendship.

The weekend began with tours of the Law School’s newest building, the Wasserstein Hall, Caspersen Student Center, Clinical Wing building, and featured panel discussions, two plenary sessions, tours of Harvard and Boston, class symposia, class photos, and a standing-room only conversation with Dean Minow about the state of the Law School, as well as many opportunities to catch up with old friends.
