Classes of 1952, 1957, 1962, 1967, 1972, 1977 and the Emeritus Club
More than 500 alumni and guests enjoyed a wonderful fall weekend in Cambridge while hearing from HLS professors about cutting edge research, learning more about the exciting new initiatives on campus, connecting and reconnecting with old friends (view the program).
Many reunion participants heard from Dean Martha Minow who highlighted some of her key priorities at HLS including her commitment to entrepreneurship and innovation and the backgrounds and experience of several new faculty appointments. She underscored the important role that alumni play in the life of the School and encouraged their feedback and suggestions.
David Gergen ’67 and Mort Zuckerman ’62 celebrated with their classmates and presented thought provoking issues facing the election cycle and process and the US economy (view slideshow). Alumni panels tackled the issues of corporate governance and provided perspectives on the HLS Clinical programs. Professor Annette Gordon-Reed ’84 discussed “The Paths of the Law: Finding The Way After HLS” and Professor Bill Alford ’77 provided an in depth view of globalization in legal education.
The weekend was topped off with cocktails and dinner on Saturday night and a Sunday brunch at The Harvard Faculty Club.
It was wonderful to have so many alumni back on campus. If you were unable to join us, we hope to see you in Cambridge soon. It is not the same without you!
