Professor Vicki Jackson is seeking multiple Research Assistants for ongoing projects in U.S. constitutional law and comparative constitutional law. Specific topics may relate to constitutional issues in judicial review (including debates over modes of interpretation); the structures of constitutional courts; the relationships of courts and political branches; constitution-making and amendment; democratic erosion; environmental protection; recognition of indigenous peoples; knowledge institutions; freedoms of speech and inquiry; religious freedoms; federalism; and/or positive social welfare rights.
If interested, please send Professor Jackson your resume, HLS transcript (unofficial is fine), and brief statement of interest. Please indicate in the subject line that you are interested in a Research Assistant position. Please let her know when you would be available to start (there is one project she would like to have RA help with starting June 1). Hours can be very flexible. Because geographic limitations may apply, please indicate your location this summer. Professor Jackson’s email is: vjackson@law.harvard.edu.
