Professor Lvovsky is seeking a Research Assistant to help with 19th-century archival research for a new project on the history of undercover policing in the United States.

Duties will include reviewing and summarizing case files (to be shared digitally), transcribing relevant documents, and contacting state and national archives to track down outstanding court records. Prior research experience with handwritten 19th-century documents is a must.
