The University’s Harvard & the Legacy of Slavery (H&LS) initiative has announced its inaugural request for proposals (RFP) for innovative and impactful projects that address systemic inequities affecting people who have been harmed by slavery. H&LS will host a live webinar on November 27 with a panel of staff from the initiative and community organizations to answer questions about the RFP process. This event will be followed by two Ideathons, one on November 30 at Roxbury Community College and one on December 7 at the Foundry in Cambridge—both from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.—that will convene community-based organizations and Harvard affiliates to pitch and refine their proposals.
