Students who enroll in this clinic may count the credits towards the JD experiential learning requirement.

Pre or Co-requisite Class: Capital Punishment in America (3 Fall credits). Some class spots are reserved for clinic students. If you are not yet in the class, you can secure one of these reserved spots by first enrolling in the clinic, and then enrolling in the class. If you enroll in a reserved spot and later drop the clinic, you must also drop the class.
Pre-requisite: Criminal Law.
Early Add/Drop Deadline: December 7, 2012.
LLM Students: This clinic is open to LLM students through an application process.
Multi-semester: This is a Winter-Spring clinic (2 Winter credits + 2-4 Spring credits).

The Capital Punishment Clinic offers opportunities for students to represent clients with capital sentences through placements at capital punishment resource centers, organizations, law firms, and governmental agencies throughout the country. Clinical work is full-time and on-site during the Winter term, and continues on a part-time and remote basis in the Spring term. This clinic is graded Credit/Fail.
