Applications for the 2021-2022 International Legal Studies Post-Graduate Fellowships are due to International Legal Studies by 5:00 p.m. EDT on Monday, April 19, 2021. These fellowships are designed to improve participants’ understanding of international and/or transnational law by supporting graduating HLS students or recent J.D. or LL.M. graduates who will be clerking or interning at an international or foreign regional/supranational court or tribunal in 2021-2022.

There will be an information meeting on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 and May 19, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. via Zoom for all students who are planning to register for the Fall 2021 Trial Advocacy Workshop. All students interested in learning about this course or possibly enrolling in the future are welcome to attend. At the meeting, Professor Dehlia Umunna will discuss what you need to do to be prepared for Fall TAW. Professor Mike Schmitt is Professor of International Law at the University of Reading, the Charles H. Stockton Distinguished Scholar-in-Residence at the US Naval War College, the G. Lieber Norman Lieber Distinguished Scholar at West Point, and a Senior Fellow at the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defense Center of Excellence. He has previously been on the faculty of Durham University and the University of Exeter in the UK and was Dean of the Marshall Center for Security Studies in Germany.
