In addition to all new faculty and staff computers being built with Windows 10, ITS has started to implement Windows 10 on all public computers with the goal of improving our public computing environment as a whole. The major benefit of this upgrade is to improve consistency across all public computers that exist in the library, clinical labs, and student spaces such as the ITS Student lab and Student Orgs. This means that the same resources will be available on all public computers, including access to library resources/links, VDI Remote Clinics, and PaperCut printing. These improvements will allow for greater stability and security and we hope the additional flexibility and consistency will allow for a better overall experience.
***NOTE: Clinical students using clinical lab computers will now be required to log into VDI Clinics to print to clinical printers. This will increase security and limit public access. Students can print to public (non-clinical) printers without logging into VDI Clinics.
