Access to the Library
The Library provides access passes to faculty family and guests. Please contact Access Privileges, 617-496-5510, to arrange for a pass or to find our more about Library access policies.
Spouses or domestic partners of faculty members and their children over eighteen years of age may use the Library and other Harvard Libraries by obtaining a borrower’s card at the Library Privileges Office in the Widener Library. Faculty research assistants who are not currently enrolled students should also register at the Widener Privileges Office in order to gain access to Harvard Libraries and to borrow materials on behalf of faculty members.
The Library offers individual and group tours to faculty members, their classes, family and guests. Library tours can range from informational and general to instructional and tailored to a specific area of interest. To schedule a Library tour, please contact Pam Peifer, Administrative Director, 617-496-2116.
