Philip L. Torrey

Lecturer on Law



Phil Torrey is a Lecturer on Law with the Harvard Immigration and Refugee Clinical Program and the Supervising Attorney for the Harvard Immigration Project.  He teaches a course called Crimmigration:  The Intersection of Criminal Law and Immigration Law.  Phil previously worked as an attorney fellow in the Immigration Unit of Greater Boston Legal Services (GBLS).  Prior to working at GBLS, Phil was a litigation associate in the Boston office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.  He received a J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law and a B.A. from Colgate University.
