Biography

Mr. Caffrey’s practice focuses on complex civil litigation, including securities and intellectual property matters, as well as white-collar criminal defense. He has experience litigating a broad array of complex commercial matters, including shareholder litigation, class actions, and patent infringement litigation. In addition, he has represented companies and individuals under investigation by the U.S. Attorney’s Office, the SEC, and other federal and state authorities.

Mr. Caffrey was named a “Massachusetts Rising Star” for 2013 by Super Lawyers magazine.

Mr. Caffrey co-taught the Problem Solving Workshop at Harvard Law School, a required first-year course on practical skills, legal reasoning, and client counseling. Mr. Caffrey also maintains an active pro bono practice, and has represented disabled veterans and asylum-seekers at trial and on appeal.
