Info Session with the NYPD Intelligence Bureau:

Join Sarah Goldfein (HLS, 2008) and Ameesha Chandnani for a presentation about opportunities with the New York Police Department’s Intelligence Bureau. The Intelligence Bureau is recruiting civilian analysts to support intelligence-led counterterrorism and/or criminal investigations. Analysts work closely with uniformed investigators, conducting research using open source and law enforcement information, and providing assessments on case developments.

About the speakers:
Sarah Goldfein is an analyst with the NYPD’s Intelligence Analysis Unit, where she has also served as legal counsel. Sarah earned her BA in Philosophy at University of Michigan in 2001, and her J.D. at Harvard in 2008. After law school, Sarah served as a Foreign Law Clerk to Justice Ayala Procaccia of the Israeli Supreme Court, following which she worked in the litigation department at Debevoise & Plimpton in New York City. She has been with the Police Department since 2012.

Ameesha Chandnani is an analyst with the NYPD’s Intelligence Analysis Unit. Ameesha earned her BA in Economics and International Studies at Northwestern University, and her MA in Law and Diplomacy at the Fletcher School at Tufts University in 2011. After spending a semester at the CIA during graduate school, Ameesha spent two years working in finance on political and regulatory risk. She joined the police department in 2013.
