The National Security & Law Association and the National Security Journal are hosting an interview and coffee chat with Josh Geltzer, who served on the National Security Council staff until January 2017, first as Deputy Legal Adviser and then as Senior Director for Counterterrorism. He also served at DOJ as counsel to the Assistant Attorney General for National Security.

Join us to learn about—and ask about—substantive national security issues, careers in national security, and advising the President.

Currently, Josh is executive director of the Institute for Constitutional Advocacy and Protection and a visiting professor at Georgetown University Law Center. He is also a fellow in New America’s International Security program.

After earning his J.D. from Yale Law School in 2011 and a PhD in War Studies from King’s College in London, Josh clerked for Justice Breyer and Chief Judge Alex Kozinski (9th Cir.).

This event is in WCC 2071, which is in the Student Orgs area, accessible via the double doors opposite the elevator bank at the south end of WCC. You’ll need to swipe in with your HUID.
