Join Professors Lawrence Lessig and Charles Fried to learn about Harvard’s new Election Law and Voting Rights Clinic, set to launch in the Spring of 2018. Students will be placed with leading organizations in the field of election law, working on such issues as racial and partisan gerrymandering, voter I.D. legislation, campaign finance reform, and the defense of “faithless” electors. The lunch will provide an overview of the Clinic and information about the application process. In addition, Professors Lessig and Fried will share their thoughts on the most pressing issues in this rapidly evolving area of law.
