Join us on April 20th to hear how students, educators, and families in Detroit are leading the fight to demand literacy as a fundamental civil right and why they believe this can transform their schools and reclaim their communities. Our panelists will discuss the nation’s first-ever lawsuit on literacy, bring first-hand insight on the Detroit education system, and share broad lessons on how many of our most-discussed issues in education are tied to assaults on literacy – and why all Americans should be closely following what is happening in Detroit.
