Join the Human Rights and Business Association to hear from attorneys from the international law firm White & Case about their work relating to human rights!

Lou O’Neill, Director of Pro Bono – Mr. O’Neill will give an overview of White & Case’s global pro bono practice, including their business and human rights work.

Michael Kendall, Partner at the Boston Office – Mr. Kendall will speak about some of the wrongful conviction cases the team has handled, including his work on the case of Raymond Tempest, who spent 24 years in prison for a wrongful murder conviction.

Lindsay Heck, Associate at the NY Office – Ms. Heck will speak about their work on the Flint, Michigan education suit. They are suiting various Flint school districts to ensure that appropriate testing and educational services are provided to low-income students following the lead water scandal.

Lunch will be served.
