Join the HLS Democrats and HLS Urbanists for a conversation with CT Attorney General George Jepsen about the work of state attorneys general in advancing and defending progressive policies. AG Jepsen is “a leading player in the burgeoning, blue-state resistance to the Trump agenda” and has pursued initiatives related to antitrust, the environment, health care, and consumer protection. He was the architect of a recent forty-state lawsuit to combat generic drug price-fixing and a member of the NAAG executive committee that negotiated a $25 billion federal-state settlement—the largest in history—with the nation’s five largest banks over mortgage foreclosure abuses. AG Jepsen is the current president of the National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG).
