What does it feels like to practice law in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China? Please join the CLA for a small group lunch discussion with Mr. Dong, Ping on Thursday 04/13, at WCC 3012. Mr. Dong will discuss his experience practicing law in Lhasa and working for the Intermediate People’s Court in Shigatse.

Mr. DONG, Ping is a lawyer licensed in Tibet Autonomous Region of China. He is affiliated with Beijing Yingke Law Firm Lhasa. He is also an arbitrator of Xiamen Arbitration Commission. Mr. Dong worked in King & Wood Mallesons from 2007 to 2009. Notably, Mr. Dong represented Wahaha Group Co. in a series of high profile cases involving Danone and Wahaha in 2007-2009. Mr. Dong has represented Chinese and international companies in HKIAC, AAA and Cietac arbitral proceedings of cases involving disputes on cross border investments, manufacture licensing, product distribution etc. He also provided legal assistance to international non-profit and non-governmental organizations in China. Mr. Dong received his LLB from Xiamen University Law School, J.D. from Regent University, MA from Moody Seminary in Chicago, Illinois.
