Join the Harvard Black Law Students Association for Our 34th Annual Spring Conference, Friday, April 14 through Saturday April 15!
Founded in 1968, HBLSA’s Spring Conference unites students, alumni, professors, legal practitioners, and the community at-large to engage in a dialogue about relevant issues in the local, national, and international Black communities.
This year’s conference is entitled, “RESISTANCE: Redefining Our Protest, Reclaiming Our Narrative, and Recreating Our Profession.” We will explore the idea of resistance – in all of its forms, and hope to impart the message that no matter the method, resistance is important to creating revolutionary change, especially in the legal profession. We encourage both our panelists and participants understand the way their unique talents and experiences shape their actions in supporting the Black Community.
We hope that you will join us for the conference’s many events throughout the weekend, including several robust panel discussions, an amazing keynote dinner and after party this year’s Black Joy Business Expo/ Block Party, and our youth summit. All events, excluding the keynote dinner and after party, are free and open to the public upon registration. The conference’s panelists, keynote speaker, and special guests will be announced soon!
