Harvard Law School and the Harvard School of Public Health offer a joint JD and Master of Public Health (MPH). Students in the JD/MPH program earn a JD and an MPH in three academic years and one summer. Students begin by enrolling in the first year at HLS and complete the standard 1L curriculum. Upon completion of the first year at HLS, students enroll full-time in the HSPH summer session (July through mid-August). In the second and third years of the joint program, students enroll jointly at HLS and HSPH and take courses at both schools.
