Excelsior Under Attack: Dissecting Harvard’s Appeal to the National Labor Relations Board

Following an inconclusive union representation election for Harvard’s teaching and research assistants in November 2016, the regional labor board director in Boston ordered a new election after finding that Harvard left over 500 eligible voters off the “Excelsior list” provided to union supporters in elections.
