Fall 2013 Reading Group
Meets: W 5:00pm - 7:00pm in Hauser Hall Room 103
1 classroom credit

This reading group will explore the intersection of race with legal institutions in both historical and contemporary contexts. Among other topics, the class will examine: racial profiling, racial tokenism, and critical race theory (and its discontents). The class with meet in six two-hour sessions over the course of the semester. There will be no paper or exam, and class will be graded credit/fail based on class participation.
