Spring 2013 Reading Group
Meets: W 5:00pm - 7:00pm
1 classroom credit

The spring course offering is terminated. This reading group will meet in the fall term. Arendt was one of the most influential and controversial political theorists of the twentieth century. In this reading group we'll examine her 1962-63 work Eichmann in Jerusalem, along with some of the secondary literature it has produced. We'll also look at her later work on the nature of thinking and judgment, which she described as inspired by the Eichmann case.
